Decisions

Decisions. We make them every day. We choose to turn right or left at the junction, to reject a date or happily accept it, to stand up tall or bend down low, to smile or frown, to walk on or mourn in tears, to love or to hate. Each decision leads to a different path and there is no turning back once a decision is made.

That's what makes decision making a serious matter. That's why I choose to believe in the decisions I make even when others are against me. Because I have only myself to answer to at the end of the day. I am responsible for my own path in life. So let me make decisions with my heart in hand and no one else's.

And so, a major decision was made last Friday when no one was home but myself. Two major decisions actually. One of the decisions should have been made by someone else, not me. Yet the person was not bold enough to say it. So I did. Till this day, there is no regret in my heart about the matter yet. And I thank God because He gave me the boldness to decide what I think is best for myself and everyone else.

So what is the latest news about Cmate? I have officially 'resigned' from working with Froggie. And I took up my ex-boss offer in Taman Tun to be a full time retainer. What does that mean? It means I can work from home and am only required to step into the office for urgent matters only. With the fixed monthly salary, I get to work on my novels and scripts as well without having to worry about monthly cash flow.

Now, all I have to do is wait for my family to come back from Singapore and tell them the news. Somehow, I have the feeling that my mom is going to stone me and everyone else is going to talk about me for the entire month. You know how fast news travel in the family system. Blink your eyes twice and even your uncles & aunties know everything and anything about what you do. It's just so irritating sometimes.

Mini Bites of the day: Never stop too long at a junction - you have to make a turn somehow.

Cmate,
Welcome to the "Working from Home" Club! Trust me, you'll enjoy it. About the family, they'll stop when their jaws get tired. Good luck!
